MACHINA MUNDI HOUSE - CONSTÂNCIA - 2005
In the grounds of a 1500 mannor house once owned by a noble friend of the poet Camões, offered the author of the Lusiades epic poem, celebratory of the Portuguese discoveries, many afternoons of shade sleeping under the collness of the trees. He could see the tagus river slowly twisting by the side of Almourol castle. The hill in front of the Manor is planeed to receive an urban plan. The first house, intended as a pavilion for rest and thought celebrates this idea of travel and mind. Ideas and flights of fancy.
